Celebrate Paducah's maritime legacy and lore with interactive water-filled exhibits, including a working model of a lock and dam. Captain a towboat, pleasure watercraft or Coast Guard buoy tender through various scenarios in the new pilothouse simulator. Take a turn behind the pilot wheel to experience the river traffic at the Port of Paducah. Nautical/science-themed gift shop. Mon.-Sat., 9:30 AM-5 PM; also Sun. Apr.-Nov., 1-5 PM. $8 adults, $5 ages 3-12, $7 seniors. Group rates available.

  • Description Oldest standing structure in Paducah. The beautifully restored 2nd floor of the RDC overlooks the confluence of the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers. Painstaking effort went into preserving this historic downtown treasure and its evident in its original floors, window and door frames, fireplaces and elegant staircase. Two smaller rooms are complemented with period furnishings.
