2026 Paducah Dragon Boat Festival

Celebrate community, competition, and culture at the annual Dragon Boat Festival on Paducah’s riverfront. Hosted by the River Discovery Center, this dynamic event brings teams together from across the region for a day of exciting races on the water and family-friendly fun on land! Bouncy houses, food & vendors tents, a beer garden, speciality sips, and more make this a perfect weekend outing for the entire family.
The Dragon Boat Festival takes place along the Ohio River in downtown Paducah, offering spectators a front-row seat to the action. Watch as teams paddle to the beat of the drum in 40-foot-long dragon boats, racing for victory in one of the most unique sporting events in the area. This event supports the educational programs of the River Discovery Center, which connect students and visitors with the history, science, and culture of America’s inland waterways. Food vendors, children’s activities, and entertainment throughout the day make it a great outing for all ages.

The Dragon Trail
