"Ten University of Kentucky students explore the communities, cultures, and characters in western Kentucky. In each episode, the travelers are challenged to think critically about the world around them. Dr. Jason Swanson, a tourism professor at UK, leads the explorers through western Kentucky.
After searching all week for local foods, the travelers compete in a cooking challenge. They also spend an emotional morning in Paducah and make a quick stop in Calvert City at a tourist attraction like none other in Kentucky."
