When word got around that a quilt museum was going to be one of our destinations, the opinions were split: Women were excited. Men rolled their eyes.
With an open mind, I paid a visit to the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Kentucky. While not a total novice when it comes to quilts (my Mom has quilted for years) I still knew very little about the history and wide-ranging artistic abilities of hard core quilters. Needless to say, I was incredibly impressed with what I saw as I visited the museum.
Enjoy this visit to the National Quilt Museum and tribute to our quilting friends everywhere!
