- About Paducah
A Mikado steam engine, the last "Iron Horse" used by the I.C.R.R., serves as a memorial to the passage of the Steam Age. Located on Water Street in Historic Downtown, the memorial and marker are dedicated to the Illinois Central Railroad Company and to the importance of the railroad to Paducah's history and commerce.
