This is a great class for creative hands to try out a bunch of different techniques and materials and leave with a lot of beautiful objects. Cost: $60 ($50 for YAC Members)

Let’s make paste papers, pop-up cards and books! (ages 10 & up)

JULY 17 – 20, 10AM – 2PM (bring lunch)

This week-long class will start with paste paper exploration; they are fun and fast! Next we’ll use all these colorful paste papers to make pop-up cards and simple pamphlet books. Then we’ll move into making a more complex book using recycled materials. This book will make a great sketchbook or journal for students to take home and continue making art! Cost: $95 ($80 for YAC Members)

Painting Lab – mix and make (ages 8 & up)

JULY 17 – 20, 2PM – 4PM

ZINES  (ages 8 & up)

JULY 24 – 27, 10AM – 2PM (bring lunch)

Become a published artist! This class will walk through the process of making a ZINE, a small publication in the form of a simple book, usually made from one or few pieces of paper and published in singles or small editions containing hand-drawn and/or collaged images that tell a story, present an idea or mood. We’ll walk through hand-drawn illustrations using artist-grade materials and end up with a box collection to take home! Cost: $95 ($80 for YAC Members)

Photography: Art Through the Lens (ages 12 & up)

JULY 24 – 27, 2PM – 4PM

There will be some fun surprises along the way, including building a camera from a box and a scavenger hunt! Cost: $60 ($50 for YAC Members)
