Market House Theatre presents The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

November 7-10, 2019.  The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, written by Mark Haddon and adapted by Simon Stephens.

What is it like to enter the mind of a young adult with autism?  It is seven minutes after midnight and fifteen-year-old Christopher stands beside Mrs. Shears’ dead dog. It has been speared with a garden fork, and Christopher is under suspicion. Working to solve the mystery of who murdered Wellington, Christopher carefully records each fact in a book.  He has an extraordinary brain . . . exceptional at math, yet ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. Christopher has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road, detests being touched, and distrusts strangers. But his detective work, forbidden by his father, takes him on a journey that upturns his entire world.
