Overview

September 12-22, 2019. The World Premiere of Something Dark, written by Paul Elliot.

MHT's 56th Season opens with the world premiere of Something Dark - A Ghost Story for the Stage! After losing their six-year-old son in a drowning accident, Neal and Vickie try to start life over again by moving to another state, another home. Unfortunately, they are only in the new house a couple of nights before Vickie begins to hear a child’s crying in the darkness. Afraid she may be losing her mind, she keeps it a secret from her husband until he begins to hear it as well. Frantically tearing the house apart, they try to find the source of the crying, hoping that maybe, just maybe, it might be their son trying to reach through to them. The thought of his being lost between life and death terrifies them, but what they discover is something worse, much worse. Directed by Kathy Pingel, who recently directed Calendar Girls at MHT.
