The Lower Town Arts & Music Festival celebrates the cultural richness of Western Kentucky with the region’s most outstanding visual, performing and culinary arts. The free festival features vendor booths showcasing more than 50 visiting artist along with open studios and galleries of Lower Town’s resident artists, live music on three outdoor stages and a Taste of Paducah featuring local food vendors. Headliners are the Jon Stickley Trio and Nikki Lane. Other musical artists include: Aaron Kamm and the One Drops, Aaron Potter, Bantha Tracks, Becca Mancari, Brent Webster, Busman's Holiday, Chris Black & The Eagles of Unemployment, Chrome Pony, Derek Spencer, Eric Bolander, Ford Theatre Runion, Former Friends of Young Americans, Jack Grelle, Jefferson Street Parade Band, Jennifer Stokes, Jenny Johnson Band, Kate Wakefield, Leonard the Band, Lung, McCracken Jazz, Mike Wheeler, Opposite Box, Paducah Symphony Fiddler's Philharmonic (Children's and Youth Choruses), Terrapin Pond, The Other Years, Tommy Womack, William Matheny & The Strange Constellations, William Wild, and Wonky Tonk. Paducah’s oldest residential neighborhood, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is home to artists from around the globe who relocated to Paducah as a result of the City’s Artist Relocation Program.
