Things to Do in September

Paducah's performance venues are getting creative to bring high-quality entertainment to audiences outdoors! Market House Theatre will feature The Rainbow Fish, part of the Family Series, in the MHT Courtyard, a brand new outdoor performance space while Paducah Symphony Orchestra presents Brass on the Grass, a unique performance by the brass players of PSO on the Carson Center lawn.

Movies by Moonlight continues on the Carson Center terrace through the month of September, featuring outdoor movies with socially-distanced seating and elevated concessions. Maiden Alley Cinema is open and "Now Showing" films each week at 50% capacity.

The Mid-Week Famers' Market at Carson Park continues into September with the Homegrown Paducah Farmers’ Market in Historic Downtown and Food Truck Friday Nights at the Paducah-McCracken County Convention & Expo Center ongoing through September and October.

In honor of Bourbon Heritage Month, the National Quilt Museum presents Bourbon Diamonds by MJ Kinnman, a beautiful, unexpected way to discover many distinct distilleries across the state through quilts. Women's Right to Vote Revolution and Evolution, is an exhibition featuring quilts about the history of women's suffrage in honor of the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment.

Yeiser Art Center's Visible spotlights the work of multi-cultural artists from throughout the Paducah region, 1857 Hotel presents Strange New Works by Michael Terra and the Art Guild of Paducah Gallery Featured Artists include Char Downs (painting), Sharon Chalke (ceramics) and Bob Davis (jewelry).
