The American Queen and Queen of the Mississippi return to the Port of Paducah with dockings scheduled beginning on July 1.

The American Queen and Queen of the Mississippi are scheduled to drop anchor at Paducah’s riverfront this summer and fall offering passengers the opportunity for a shore excursion in Paducah.

“Docking at Paducah brings passengers directly into the historic business district to discover the attractions, heritage and local flavor,” said Fowler Black, Paducah Visitors Bureau Sales Director. “Paducah has an advantage with the destination's product located within close proximity to the riverfront.”

The American Queen, the largest steamboat ever built, was acquired and refurbished by the Great American Steamboat Company in Memphis, Tennessee. The Queen of the Mississippi is a 150-passenger ship owned by American Cruise Lines. Both ships offer paddlewheel cruises on America’s inland waterways.
