Annual Festivals & Events

Paducah is a Mecca for quilters and quilt enthusiasts each spring during the AQS QuiltWeek™ – Paducah. The event’s 30th anniversary will be celebrated April 23-26, 2014, with a host of special events. Home to the National Quilt Museum of the United States, Paducah attracts more than visitors annually from around the globe to view exhibits of the finest quilts being made today, visit vendor booths and attend exciting workshops and lectures.

Beautiful by day and glorious by night, the Neighborhood to Neighborhood Dogwood Trail highlights Paducah’s dogwoods and flowering garden areas. While the trees are in bloom, there will be Dogwood Trail signs strategically located at each turn in the trail. The 50th anniversary of the Dogwood Trail Celebration will be observed in 2014. The lighting of the Dogwood Trail in Paducah began in April 1964 when the Civic Beautification Board started the tradition of touring Paducah in bloom at night. Inspired by the beauty of Knoxville, Tennesee’s lighted dogwoods, the trail is now a 12-mile driving tour traversing Downtown, LowerTown and other residential neighborhoods.

Visit the Calendar of Events for current event dates and information.
