Colorful studios & galleries of resident artists line the streets of the LowerTown Arts District, the center of Paducah's cultural rebirth.
Home to the nationally recognized Artist Relocation Program, LowerTown is situated just four blocks from the Ohio River and historic downtown. This 26-square-block area is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Tour the studios and galleries of a wide variety of resident artists, including potters, jewelry makers, painters, printmakers, leather crafters and bookbinders. Discover objets d'art you'll treasure and meet the artists who created them.
In addition to studios and galleries, LowerTown offers entertainment, coffee and tea, and specialty shops.
Second Saturday Studio/Gallery Walk
On the second Saturday of each month, studios and galleries host extended hours (Noon-8 PM) and feature new exhibits and special events.
