What is considered appropriate dress for the Quilt Show?
Dress is casual! Bring a sweater or light wrap for evenings, and wear comfortable walking shoes. A raincoat is always helpful!
Are wheelchairs available for rental during the show?
Marilyn's Medical Freedom provides wheelchairs and scooters just inside the Expo Center hallway. If you need a wheelchair for the entire show, call 270.534.9713 to make a reservation.
Holland Medical, located at 1914 Broadway, offers manual wheelchairs. One week advance notice is requested for rental. Call 270.442.6311.

Is the AQS Quilt Show handicapped accessible?
All areas of the Paducah Expo Center, Carroll Convention Center and Executive Inn hotel are handicapped accessible. There are elevators in every area.
Paducah Area Transit System has two handicap vans available for transporting people with wheelchairs. Use your cell or an outside phone line and call 270.444.8700 to request pick up.
Where can I park?
At the AQS Quilt Show, parking is available at the Paducah Expo Center for a fee. Spaces are limited.
A free Park & Ride service is provided at Carson Park, located on Joe Clifton Drive at the corner of 28th & Madison. Shuttle buses run to and from the AQS Quilt Show as well as participating hotels, attractions, and shopping areas. Bus routes are published in the AQS showbook.
There are a number of parking lots in the historic downtown.
Is it easy to get around town?
The Paducah trolley provides free rides through downtown and the Lowertown Arts District, with access to the Quilt Museum, Finkel Building, and the Expo Center. Downtown shops, restaurants, museums, and attractions are all within walkable distance of each other.
