Art in all of its many forms thrives in Paducah.

With the fastest growing arts district in the nation, the internationally acclaimed National Quit Museum and the Carson Center for the performing arts, Paducah has created an environment where the arts and artists flourish.

Colorful studios and galleries of resident artists line the streets of the LowerTown Fine Arts District, located in Paducah's oldest neighborhood and the center of its cultural rebirth.

Home to the nationally recognized Artist Relocation Program, LowerTown is situated just four blocks from the Ohio River and historic downtown. This 26-square-block area is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Tour the studios and galleries of a wide variety of resident artists, including potters, jewelry makers, painters, printmakers, leather crafters and bookbinders. Discover objets d’art you’ll treasure and meet the artists who created them.

In addition to studios and galleries, LowerTown offers entertainment, coffee and tea, and specialty shops.
