Char Downs graduated with a BFA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa August of 1977 and received a 5th Year Professional Secondary Art Education Degree at the end of that same year. She has taught middle school, high school, college and continuing education art classes for over 30 years. She is part of the LowerTown Artist Relocation Program and offers classes in her studio for those who wish to learn to design & print special limited edition cards and T-Shirts.

SILKSCREEN PRINT WORKSHOPS Pinecone Art Studio offers an abbreviated introductory 1 hour silkscreen print on paper workshop the last Tuesday of every month at 7-8 PM. Minimum of three students required for a class to be held. $50 per person.
Pinecone Art Studio also offers an intense (6 hour) one day hands-on silkscreen print on paper and fabric workshop the last Tuesday of every month. Minimum of three students required for a class to be held. Starts at 10 AM, Noon Lunch Break, then class continues 1:30–4:30 PM. $100 per person. All required silkscreen printing materials supplied.
Groups may register for a Saturday or a Sunday class session.
Preregistration required. Call the studio.
GROUP STUDIO EXPERIENCE Make your own silk-screen print. Thirty-minute classes last Monday of each month for adults/supervised children. Call for prices.
