The 1857 hotel has arrived in Paducah, Kentucky, housed within an antebellum red brick structure dating back to 1857. Originally a men’s haberdashery with an adjoining tractor repair shop, the industrial building now boasts an uncluttered, contemporary interior from developers and owners Paul Gourieux and Jorge Martinez.

The open floor concept establishes an airy, loft-like environment in all of the boutique hotel’s 10 guestrooms, complete with high ceilings and tall windows. Each room boasts distinct furnishings to accentuate the rotating portfolio of artwork throughout 1857.

A gas fireplace, fully stocked bar, and a stage are featured in the hotel’s event venue. The concrete floors encourage dancing throughout the space and lead out to the brick alleyway.
